What we collect when you ask us for a quote, why we need it, and how to get it changed or deleted.

TrashGo provides trash valet and cleaning services in Calgary, Alberta and the surrounding communities. When you ask us for a quote we need a few details about you and your property. This page explains exactly what those details are and what we do with them.
Everything we hold about you comes from the request form on this website, or from what you tell us afterwards by phone, email or WhatsApp. That is:
We do not ask for and do not store payment card details, government identification, or dates of birth.
We use your information for one purpose: to quote for, schedule and carry out the service you asked us for, and to reach you about that service. That includes sending your quote, calling or messaging you to agree a schedule, letting the crew know where to attend, and following up if something about the job changes.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
Your details are stored in our own database on our web host's servers. The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS), the admin area that displays your details is password protected, and only TrashGo staff who need it to run your job can see it.
The only third parties involved are the ones needed to actually deliver the service — our web hosting provider, which stores the database on our behalf, and the phone or messaging service we use to contact you. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We keep your request and service records for as long as we are providing service to you, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can honour repeat bookings and answer questions about work we have already done. We do not keep them longer than we need them.
If you want your information removed sooner, just ask — see below.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete your records entirely. Email info@trashgo.ca or call 403-890-5621 and we will deal with it within 30 days.
If we still need part of your information to finish a job you have booked, we will tell you which part and why, and remove the rest.
Submitting the request form means you agree to us using your information in the ways described on this page. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us, though we may not be able to continue providing the service without the details needed to carry it out.
TrashGo operates in Calgary, Alberta, and handles personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). That means we collect only what we need, tell you why we are collecting it, use it only for that reason, keep it accurate and secure, and give you access to it on request.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, contact us first at info@trashgo.ca. If we cannot resolve it, you may raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
